## Standard Form: Using the Table Method

So now that we know a little bit about how "a", "b", and "c" effect the graph of a parabola in standard form, lets actually graph some functions by using the table method.

**Example:**Graph the quadratic function below, which

Step 1 - Click " y= " button and type in the given quadratic equation. |
Step 2 - Click " 2nd " button and the "Graph" button at the same time.Step 3 - Look for the vertex by finding the point where you see reflection in the y-values. You may need to readjust the table, by clicking both the "2nd" and the "window" button.Vertex (-6, 40)
